We are a family of 4 the accommodation comfortably sleeps a family of 5. Fabulous place to stay , There is a property adjoined which has a swimming pool available should you fancy an upgrade. We had a large bathroom with great shower washing machine available and fully equipped kitchen. Living room very comfortable with rest log fire and if you fancy watching some TV large flatscreen with full Sky package also wifi available. This is essential as no phone signal available or 3/4G on your mobile. All bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Beautiful grounds the accommodation is located on surrounded by paddocks where horses roam. Well positioned place with local beaches and parks available. We visited country park with great beach, toboggon run dry ski slope and enjoyed an hours horse ride with the kids. Great day out. Also found Tenby an hour away which is a stunning place. So many more places left to visit. Owner very welcoming and helpful , bottle of Prescecco chilling on our arrival was a nice touch. Recommend this as a base to anyone and look forward to return visit myself.
There are five in my family and we had plenty of room in the coach house. The beds were comfortable, and the children loved the TV package as well as the horses on the site. The coach house is well situated so you are away from it all but the town and Swansea is a short drive away. There are plenty of superb beaches and things to do in the area.
Finally, the owner was really friendly and helpful.
Had a long weekend in The Coach House with the grandchildren. The owner was very welcoming and showed us around the property and told us about the immediate surrounding area, and had lots of advice about where to take children and suitable places to eat. There’s a lot of land surrounding the house that unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore (maybe next time). The locals (two ponies a cat and a dog) are very friendly and entertained the kids. Star (the dog) if allowed, will also keep you company on long dark evenings by sleeping in front of the log burner! It’s a lovely area for exploring the Gower peninsula and a beautiful place which ever time of year you go.
We stayed with all of the bridesmaids before my wedding and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax before the big day. With its roaring fires and cosy country feel it was the ideal place to prepare and enjoy with the girls. The host was extremely helpful and laid the fire ready for us and was extremely accommodating to us all. The beds were cosy and comfortable, the conservatory was fab and offered the most incredible views of the Welsh countryside. The kitchen was spacious and was a lovely room for us to eat and we loved watching Bridesmaids on the giant TV in the living room! Would so recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to relax – it’s totally idilic and I cannot fault it. Looking forward to bringing my husband for my next stay!
Firstly let me just say how charming the owners are of this fantastic property . They made us feel welcome and we could not have asked for better hosts . There was everything at the property you could possibly need ( nothing had been forgotten ). I liked the little touches including the prosecco . They property is stunning and the scenery idyllic ( the only problem was the weather was awful ). The kids loved the swimming pool and star ( the owners dog ). It was lovely to see horses and sheep grazing in the next field , the horses especially were very friendly and we did enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside . The cottage / converted barn did get cold in the evening and we enjoyed the log fire and the place heats up quite quickly . Altogether this place is a lovely place to spent a short break or holiday .
My wife and I had had a fantastic 5 night break here in July stopping in the Barn…we were greeted on arrival by Geraint and a chilled bottle of Prosecco…such a nice touch. He showed ourselves round the property whilst talking with such enthusiasm and passion about the local area and places to visit whilst we were there…which we did. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we made the most of the outdoor space including the heated pool….we enjoyed walking around the 11 acres of farmland in the evening….with the horses greeting us. The surrounding area of the Gower peninsula is truly stunning along with Tenby as we ventured further afield….too much to see in too little time. It is a long time since we holidayed in the UK but I would certainly come back to South Wales and Pantymeillion cottages… Thanks Geraint!
We had a fantastic holiday and were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The cottage is great, with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside and the outdoor heated pool was a big success. A great base to visit the numerous local attractions! Thoroughly recommend staying here!
We have just returned home after 3 nights stay & had an amazing time. The Barn is well equipped & the pool area fantastic, even the poor weather didn’t spoil our experience. Owners Julia & Geraint made us feel very welcome & we can’t wait for our next visit with our daughters & grandchildren.
